We have made it our principle to only recommend staff that we personally know. The core team is made up of a contact network of IT professionals in Switzerland and the EU that has steadily expanded over a period of more than 20 years. The crucial added value that IQ PLUS professionals bring is not only in the form of technical skills but also their personal suitability.
Two IQ PLUS consultants are always present at the candidate interviews which are based on a special interview process designed by a psychologist. Besides the candidates’ professional skills, we learn a great deal about their social competencies such as work ethics and their teamwork ability. This is followed by a comparison with a detailed psychological personality register designed for IT requirements. This procedure guarantees an objective, serious and fair assessment. The result is discussed with the candidate and fed into the pool. We have registered several thousand professionals with this method, with more being added every day.
The better we know our professionals, the more precise our selection:
- Technical skills: education, studies, qualifications, documents (diplomas, certificates, references), professional experience, special knowledge of software, hardware, environments;
- Personal data: age, nationality, place of residence, marital status, availability, mobility;
- Social skills: teamwork ability, working style, behaviour under stress, problem-solving skills, leadership experience;
- Other: languages spoken, salary requirements, other interests.
